“The Legend Trap” nominated for a Ditmar Award

I’m deeply honoured that my story “The Legend Trap” has been nominated in the novella category of the 2015 Ditmar Awards.It’s a story I’m particular proud of – a slightly more meta riff on the urban myths I’ve been writing to accompany the Twinmaker series, one that I hope is chilling in its own right. If you’d like to read it, it was published in Kaleidoscope, a wonderful collection of diverse YA stories edited by Alissa Krasnostein and Julia Rios, without whom this story would not exist (so huge thanks to them).

The results of the Ditmars will be announced in Perth at this year’s national SF convention (Swancon 40). “The Legend Trap” is in superb company so I won’t hold my breath!
